TruePoint Design: I don’t want to make things... I must make things!!!

Here is a little about TruePoint Design, when I was a little kid, I told my parents that I wanted to be Santa and make toys. As I grew up, I moved away from this dream of making toys. Growing up on the farm I learned a lot of different things but what I loved doing most of all was making things, from fence to grain trucks with my dad and brothers. As long as I was in the shop, I was happy, and my dad saw this in me. So, the other brothers would drive the farming equipment, and work with the animals and I would man the shop.

As an adult, I work as a machine programmer at an airspace factory and I love it!! That said I was missing the design freedom that I had on the farm, so I set out to fill this hole. I wanted to make things that are an original design, starting with the SewRods, then fuel trucks, and now the puzzle. By complete accident I find myself doing the one thing I said I wanted to do as a little kid - making toys. Now that I have kids of my own, I like nothing more than giving them the maker spark that I found in my dad shop. Running a side shop is a lot of work and there always something that needs to be done, but we love it!!
